The Scholastic Aptitude Test (S.A.T.) is a standardized examination used by universities and colleges throughout the nation as part of their admission requirements. Institutions of higher learning factor in a student’s S.A.T. scores as part of the applicant’s eligibility, which most often
impacts a student gaining access to academic scholarship programs.
Preparing for the SAT
The Foundation, along with its affiliation with a recognized SAT Preparatory organization, sponsors 6-8 week courses that assist high school students to generate higher S.A.T. scores commensurate to their GPAs. Most of the participating students are seniors and most likely will be in a situation of dependence on their S.A.T. scores for acceptance into college and/or university.
